It's a new school year and my classroom is all ready! It's hard to believe that my 8 weeks of summer are over but they were filled with fun. All last week was "work week" which is usually time to get things ready; but really, it was filled with meetings and more meetings, it was long 12 hour days getting everything ready! On Friday we had Meet-n-greet and I got to meet 24 of my 26 students. I am anxious for Monday and the week of getting to know each of my new sweeties! Below are some pictures of my classroom... I made what I could of being out in the mobiles again this year... it looks bigger than it really is... there isn't much room to move around or have the class sit on the floor but it's all what you make it right? :)
This is my work station, I opted out of a real desk to have more storage space under neath it. And i use the second empty desk for student conferences and 2-on-1 instruction!
This is the back of the room leading into Mrs. Marino's room and the bathroom is to the left of the drinking fountain. We usually have morning meeting on the floor back here but I'm not sure we'll have room for us all back here!
